We created this section to highlight the works of talented artists that have turned their expertise to creating beautiful urns for pets and people.  Yes, while we cater primarily to pets, there is absolutely no reason these could not be used for pet owners as well. In fact, many pet owners have shared with us the desire to have their pets share an urn with them! 

    Keep in mind the size rule of thumb, 1ci (cubic inch) for 1 pound of person or pet (no cheating!).

The Waterfall Collection

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
    John Margerum has been making wheel thrown stoneware vessels for 21 years and has made a career as an award winning artist who has displayed and sold his work in over 800 juried art shows throughout the country.  In the past he made urns only by commission, but now has turned his attention to fulfilling what he believes to be an arena in much need of beautiful art vessels.
    The artfully created urns are individually wheel thrown by the artist and fired to 25000-F in a reduction kiln to insure maximum strength and beauty.   To these beautifully crafted urns John applies a luxurious glaze made with rutile quartz that he developed himself.  When fired the glaze displays a beauty that brings to mind a vision of peaceful, heavenly bodies of water gently cascading over smooth stones.  The rutile glaze has a background of deep purple-hues with hues of green and purples visible at various levels throughout the glass.  Floating infinitely are thousands of white and gold titanium specks reminiscent of stars and other heavenly bodies reflected upon the water.
    Each urn is personally signed by the artist and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.  Please order giving the initials & name of the waterfall it represents.
