In March of 1992 Lisa Saxer experienced the death of her mother, Madelyn.  Following her mother's wishes, the body was cremated and the cremated remains placed in an urn that Madelyn had, herself selected.   Lisa wanted a way to keep her mother's remains closer to her.  She spoke with her friend Joni Cullen and together they designed four types of hollow lockets that could hold cremated remains or a lock of hair of the deceased. They then obtained the assistance of a jeweler in the manufacture of the lockets.  From such modest beginnings the Madelyn Pendant was born. 

    When we saw them we knew that pet owners would like the same opportunity to keep their best friend close to their heart.  Most pendants may be engraved with your pet's name (see below). Each individual pendant is shipped in a soft suede cloth pouch with a gift box. As a sentimental gift for yourself or others, these Keepsake Pendants are an heirloom to treasure and remember the deep friendship you shared with your little friend.
