Blu' was definitely my heart dog. We adopted him through a greyhound adoption group in 1998 and he quickly became my best friend. Living away from family can be hard sometimes but Blu' filled that void in my life. Blu' lost his battle with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer)- 2 months from diagnosis. We choose what was right for him....but my heart aches. I am sure he will wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I will definitely be looking for him someday. I miss you Boo-Boo Bear. Your Mom....Karen

Max, my 14 year best friend and companion died today. He was very sick and a tumor in his brain was rapidly taking over his ability to walk or stand. He saved my life 14 yrs ago when I found him. We have grown up together. I cant imagine not having him greet me everyday at the door, or tap the door with his paw to let me know he needed to go out. He thought he was human. My husband and I treated him like he was human. I had a son, a four legged son. He brought so much joy to me when there was sadness, so much laughter when there were tears. He knew when I needed him, he has always been there for me. How can I ever repay that kind of unconditional love to anyone or thing. I hope he loved me as much as I loved him. I have been married less than a year and the bond my husband shared with Max is out of this world. I think Max may have loved him more? Where did the time go? 14 years has flown by. He never once had an accident in the house! That boy had a bladder of gold! I wouldn't have gotten mad, but van someone tell me this pain gets easier to deal with? I have such emptiness, despair, I am numb all over. He was the best friend I ever had. I hope he sees me know and is running and playing. He deserves the Four Seasons of Heavens. all you can eat ribs!!

Shelby was my heart. She was such an intelligent cat with a stately attitude. While I was suffering from cancer and was forced to lay perfectly still for almost 6 months, she would alternate laying on my joints. Somehow I think she knew I was hurting and the warmth of her body kept me more comfortable. I wish I could have somehow done the same for her. The last time I saw here alive, she could only move the tips of her paws but when I reached down to pet her head and say goodbye, she managed to purr just a little bit. I will love her always.

I have had Elmo and his mother (and brothers) since he was 2-days old. The first time he toddled out from under my bed, he was not yet 2-weeks-old, but he headed directly for me and let me rub him. He spent the next 9 1/2 months as my faithful companion. He was the most beautiful kitten I have ever seen (since I have 11 other gorgeous cats, that is really saying something). He was beautiful inside as well, giving affection, not just taking it. He died suddenly this past Monday, apparently from a heart condition. I will never forget him. I love you, Elmo! You came into our lives, because Mommy and Daddy Clay needed a sitter. Never dreaming that I would fall in love with you as I did, I took on the task. Two weeks, that was all you were suppose to spend with us. But Jesus saw fir to have you touch my heart, and your 1st mommy allowed me to keep you. Of course, your 1st family loved you very mush, but they were being transferred and thought it best not to move you again. Little did I know that you would become my heart, my reason for living. You were there to kiss away my tears when our Daddy Karl died, and you gave me a reason to get up in the morning. You touched all of our lives, with those big beautiful eyes. You seemed to take Poppy, who really didn't care for dogs, and wrap him around your paw. Who would have thought that at 86, he would shed tears over your death. You never let me go anywhere without you, and if I had no choice but to leave you, you would scold me when I came home. You were a joy to have around, and I never thought of you as just a Chihuahua. My "little girl" is what you where. I knew that the end was near, but I kept praying for a miracle. Precious babies aren't suppose to suffer, and die. On that last night, as I cradled you in my arms, I hoped that I made your last hours comfortable, and that you knew how very much you were loved. Letting you go, was almost as hard as watching daddy slip away. Now you are at the Rainbow Bridge, and I know that you are touching the lives of all who didn't get to meet you on earth. My baby-girl, mommy will miss you until the day we see each other at the Bridge and find our way to Heaven. Keep the angels entertained. I know your spirit is still "puppy-like". I love you, Baby Girl. Tony and "Blue" miss you too!!!! GOD BLESS YOU. Love Mommy Sharon You

Sandi our little Cocker Spaniel was everything to my husband and I. She would meet us at the door and sniff the tires to see where we had been. When she would go with us she would nap on my lap or in the back seat until about a mile from where she knew we was going. She followed us everywhere in the house and yard and in the summer we would say she was on bug patrol. How she loved to chase after the squirrels, flies and bees. The different expressions she would get on her face, you knew she was a little human in a fur coat. We miss everything about you Sandi, the walking down the pool steps like a little lady, swimming half way out and back. The presence of you at the refrigerator door and around the stove. The morning and goodbye hugs along with the goodnight kisses and the toys hauled onto the living room floor one by one. She was the greatest protector and the most loving friend that we could ever have. And the way you barked I LOVE You always made my heart melt. We love you and you will not be forgotten. Babbette was adopted at 6 months off the streets of Santa Ana, CA. I always called her my gang dog. She was a tiny Shih Tzu who lived for love and YUM YUM. She slept in my bed for 10 years and was my very heart and my only little girl. She was always at the vets for something, but she finally could not regain her health. I had her euthanized and held her the whole time. I had her cremated and now have her ashes in my bedroom again. I will always love her, and told her to save a place for me in Heaven. My heart is truly broken.

Willie could say one word; hello...which only took me 6 months to teach him. Like most cats I know of, he was at the front door meowing until I opened it and then he would say hello over and over until I picked him up. I loved the way he fell asleep on my chest, (I sleep in a recliner chair) and the way he would jump to the back of the chair at some point, where he would be when I awoke. I loved to watch him spend maybe 15 minutes opening the closet door only to go in and come right back out again. His kisses were sweet. Willie was my best friend for the 8 years he lived with me; totally animated and picked up on my own personality adopted some of my ways for his own. He loved everyone and made a big fuss over people who visited, almost always jumping up into someone's lap and making them think they were the only person in the world LOL! Everyone here (I live in a small complex of 200 apts) who knew Willie loved him and always asked about him when they saw me. When I recorded on my voice mail, Willie's voice joined my own and people used to tease me about "squeezing" him to get him to talk...Getting Willie to TALK was NOT the problem LOL! getting him to Shut up could be LOL! I miss him and guess I always will, though I believe I still get "visits" from him every now and then. I had him cremated and he sits right next to me on a shelf so that I can touch him everyday. Ollie, the cat that is coming to live here on Saturday is, I believe, one that somehow, mixed with the grace of god was sent here with Willie's paw of approval!

We got Jordan at 8 weeks old, 2 months before my husband and I got married he was our "son" it took us 6 years to have a baby and Jordan was there with me through it all, we went through in-vitro and over a month of shots and every night I would say "Jordan shot time" and he would jump on the bed and put his paw on my arm, I would hold it when I got the shots. He was great with my son, the best. We just got his ashes back home yesterday and I feel at peace in a way to know Jordan came back home again. I know it will get easier but when? How long? He was an American Staffordshire (Pit Bull). It hurts so much, knowing he will not be following me up and down the stairs when I do the laundry, going to the kitchen w/me for a before bedtime snack and greeting me at the door when I come home for lunch and at the end of very long days at work. I will miss him snuggling with me at night, waking us up in the middle of the night to go out, and being my alarm clock in the morning because it's time to eat. What a GREAT dog...unconditional love. Dearest Chewy, I will always remember you in my heart. You were loved by many people and I hope that you are in a much better place. Not only did Anna and me love you, so did my mom. You were the most magnificent dog ever. Oreo loved you so much. I remember when I would get off the school bus and their you were, all happy and wagging your tail in circles. It was the cutest thing. I know that you would be glad to be in heaven with all 12 of your gorgeous pups. Not only do we miss you, but we also miss Kocoa, Clover, Kyle, Rascal, Mudd, Piper, Dawn and Star. I am very happy that you are in a better place and I want you to know that me and Anna will always keep you in our hearts and that no other dog can EVER replace you.

To my "Fish", "Poopers", "Smush", "Babykins"... I love you so very much. It wasn't time for you to go in age, but with the illness--your heart just couldn't take it anymore. It was too much for your little body to handle. I love you so very much and don't know what I am going to do without you. I will miss taking you outside to eat the grass and giving you kisses that I know you didn't like (it's a big boy thing). I am so very glad I had the eight years that I did. I will miss you being stubborn and the baby whine. Most of all our special ways...I will miss knowing the way you like things like scratching under your arm and carrying you the way you liked. It was fate that you and I got together and I love you very much always!

Love Mom--Jennifer

My husband and I are so very blessed that our cat Susie Q was able to give us such joy, laughter and love for 18 years. There are so many memories but the one that will never be forgotten is that everyday at 4 pm sharp, for about 15 years, she would sit up and beg for her dollop of Redi Whip (whipped cream). It's amazing how she seemed to have an inner body clock. She always let us know what time it was... REDI WHIP TIME... She LOVED IT.... We miss her terribly.

Indianapolis, Woo Bug, Indykins, DaDa, Kitty, Indy, my precious little baby; We would have celebrated your 16th Birthday this past weekend. It seems like yesterday I "rescued" you. That sweet tiny black & white kitty meowing for someone. You were my companion and best friend for so many years. Our adventures took us from Seffner to Gainesville, Jacksonville, and back to Tampa. Your characteristics were what made you my special baby. Loving, when you wanted to be and feisty, at other times. You loved to play outside, in the guarded area of the screened-in-porch, and pretend to be the big hunter, however you made sure the patio door was always cracked so you could return inside in a flash. The patio at Nana and Papa's was your favorite. Eventually our duo expanded into a family. You loved to sit on the patio while your Daddy grilled...especially steak. Your sweet little face made it hard to resist when you would beg for a bite. I can still cry so easily thinking about you, I miss you more than words can say. I never thought the day would come when you would not be there when I got home. I had you cremated and you stay with us in a special place. I've gathered all your pictures and placed them in an album and look at them often. I want to write more but my heart is aching so bad with sorrow and the tears are so hard to hold back with each line I write. I pray that God has you in a special place waiting for me. As I told you as I held you in the hospital, I'll always love you forever my sweet baby. Tears flowing, Mommy

We are so blessed to have had Susie Q with us for 18 years. She LOVED Redi Whip, ice cream and milk. Everyday at 4 pm, just like clockwork, she would sit in front of the "fridge" and ask for her whipped cream. Then at 8:30 pm she would ask for either ice cream or milk. We loved her so much and miss her terribly.

I had been to visit him on Thursday and despite the possibilities he might recover, I turned to my vet and told her that it was hard to sum up 12 years in just one visit. I think when you are close, you know. Shelby was the most vocal cat I ever owned. He was amazingly agile and annoyed my neighbors with his excellent bird catching skills. He was timid at times but also could be a complete cuddly goof and was very much a lap cat. He liked to play wrestle and loved the outdoors. With him gone, its the silence that is the hardest to get use to. I love you Shelby and I miss you so very much.

My red merle Australian Shepherd, Jasper has a beautiful soul and if there are such things as angels on earth he definitely was one. He never harmed a flea and he greeted everyone as though he was their best friend. The day I went to see his litter he walked over to me and he laid at my feet and put his head on my shoe and I knew he was the one. I did my best to care for him, teach him and show him my love and in return he gave me an unconditional love like no other. It was the hardest thing to let him go and it killed me inside -- I hope he understands how I had to do the right thing so he wouldn't have to go through any more pain or suffering. He was my baby for 12 years and 3 months and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss how he used to talk to me in his mumbly voice and I will miss his beautiful blue eyes looking in mine. Momma loves you Jasper and I will forever miss you -- I will never forget you my "Moley Man".

When I first got Zeus he jumped into the back seat of my car & curled up he was about 8lbs.He was about 3 years old & went into heart failure due to a murmur, they gave him 3 hrs to live, that was almost 9 years ago. With a lot of love, care & medication we were able to keep him for 9 more years. We lost him on 7/5/04 to heart failure which was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. He was our Big Boy 42Lbs,he was a gold & white Maine Coon cat. We do not have children so he was our child. The things I will miss the most is the sound of his purr and having him as my lap buddy (he was great as a pillow too). When the alarm would go off in the mornings you would hear him come up stairs, jump on the bed & knock my alarm off the stand for it was his way of telling me "It's time to eat Mom, get up". He would talk back to you if he wanted your attention. I don't think I will ever find another one like him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for everyone loved him. Forever in our hearts he will be. We love you Zeus, mommy & daddy (April & Michael)

Max was a magnificent 14 year old male cat when he was struck down by Lymphoma on 7-19-04. My wife and I met 12 years ago and started an extended family that brought five girls, two cats (Max and Colors), a dog (Prince), a rabbit (Bow-Tie) and a bird (Billy) together. Max was the calming influence in our 'zoo', always there but the least demanding of all involved. He was famous for his gentle head-butt and rubbing on my five-o'clock shadow (the rougher the better). No newspaper on a Sunday morning was safe if Max wanted to be with you. He would give a rub and settle in (on the paper) for a visit. He began to lose weight six months ago and despite numerous visits to the vet, no answer was found until it was too late. We were able to visit with our friend the Sunday before he left us and despite being hooked up to an intravenous bag that was re-hydrating him, Max was so glad to see us. He made our last time with him as he had every other, just love and lots of it. Our house has a big hole in it right now that will take a long time to fill.

I got Jake when he was only 6 weeks old. He was a beautiful shinny black Lab. He quickly became my best friend, my everything. He was always by my side and went everywhere with me. Although plagued with many disabilities which started at 1 1/2 years old, he never stopped trying to please me daily. He had epilepsy with recurrent seizures of which I held him for each and every one of, liver disease, laryngeal paralysis of which he survived a tie-back surgery for so he didn't suffocate and then had to be put on medications. He was my brave handsome boy and made it to almost 12 years but a tumor on his spine and kidney failure took away his quality life and I was forced to let him go. He could no longer get up on his own and no longer had an appetite to even eat his most favorite foods. It wasn't fair to keep him alive for me. It was his time to go home. He will remain my brave handsome boy forever and never a day will go by that I don't think of him and miss him more than words can say. The house is so empty and the nights are so long. I miss him barking at me when I came in the door. I would have given anything to save him but God needed another Angel and it was him who was chosen. I will miss you Jake and your unconditional love till the end of time. I love you Jake man. Play in Gods' fields and swim in his waters. I had just lost my black Persian "Morticia" (The Addams Family) and my grandfather. I was missing have a cat since I've had a cat since the day I was born. We have rental property and people leave behind a bunch of things. Wel the Easter of '94 my husband came across a box of 10 kittens. As much as he would have loved to we just couldn't keep all of them (they all were found Good homes) he kept 2 My grandfather loved the old shows and would tease my grandmother when she was tired and it was time to go "Say goodnight Gracie" "Goodnight Gracie" I loved the George and Gracie show too hence my 2 Kittens names George (he wore a tux) Black and White and my dingy little girl Gracie (solid gray) I prayed that they would love me as much as I loved them. Well they did for awhile. Gracie being female soon well become female leave me alone if I want you I'll come get you. George on the other hand well he was big and lovable. I just had to look at him and he would purr big purrs. I kept them in we live in the country and we have lots of fox and raccoons. Well he wasn't going to have that so he let us know he had to go out. I was terrified. Things went well for awhile till this past Sat. 2 stray dogs got hold of him but he held his own my husband was able to rescue him, we were found ourselves fortunate, only a broken jaw that could be fixed. I work for 3 of the best vets I have ever worked with, and had all the faith in any of them. Alas my will was not to be. My great grandfather's birthday was July 28 and mine is the 29. Obviously both Pappy and Grandpa needed him more than I. It is hard to crawl into bed at night without him purring by my side, when I was sick he was the first one by my side. I will miss him more than I thought was possible. I haven't known pain like this since the passing of my Grandpa about 10 years ago. I know he is in the garden of Eden where he can chase his butterflies and not worry about having to come in or being dressed up in baby doll clothes by my daughter. I hope he knows that when he passed he took a piece of my heart

My precious Dusty girl, so sassy yet so sweet. I got her when she was only 6 weeks old along with her brother Jake who recently passed on 7-20-04. Dusty was so smart and ALWAYS the boss. But so full of love and affection you couldn't help but love her. She would rather play Frisbee or tennis ball or carry around her stick than even eat or sleep. She just LOVED LIFE and totally lived it to the fullest till one day, some sick person put out rotten food and it ended up in our backyard and she ate it. Despite my struggle to save her, after spending a week in the Emergency hospital, there was nothing else they could do for her. It had gone throughout her organs and she was bleeding internally from everywhere and had severe Pancreatitis. She was in excruciating pain and it was unfair to make her fight. My pretty little girl was being called home and I had to let her go. My heart ached as I held her and felt her last breath and she took a piece of my heart with her when she left. My house is empty now, and her stomping and sassing is gone. Not a day goes by that I don't wish her here, but know she has welcomed her brother home on July 20th and that they are romping in Gods' fields and waters and will be on the other side of Rainbow Bridge waiting for me. My Sweet Dusty Rose, how I miss you so. You will be in my heart forever. There is no love like the unconditional love of a dog. She was smarter than the average person, and protected me til' the end. I love you Dusty and miss you and Jake so much. Love Mom

Our Dear Brittany,

You came into our liver a mere 3 week old puppy. You had been abandoned on the Gandy Causeway. Your Mommy found you rolling around waiting for traffic to move ahead. We were so thankful for that bridge construction, or we would have never found you.

You were always full of the devil, getting into some sort of no no or another. But the love you showed to us your family, made up for any kind of no no you could get into. This brings to mind the day you decided to chew a 1/2 moon shape at the bottom of the door going from the kitchen to the dining room. This was because the kitchen was your play pen when there was no one home. You made it clear that you wanted to see out into the rest of the house.

For this and so many other memories, we love and miss you. We will meet you some day at the Rainbow Bridge.

Love, Daddy and Mommy

my sweetest little doxie girl....14 1/2 years of unconditional love, devotion, and kissie-poos. she was the light of my life. she brought humor and smiles to our home, even more so in her senior years, with her adorable antics and funny ways. she loved to lie in the hot sun. we called her "a real hot dog !" she loved to befriend, and play with the squirrels, who would come right up to the window by her bed, begging her to come out and play. she waddled around, and all her simply visited our home were taken with her cuteness and sweet, lovable nature. she loved to bury herself under the covers, and sleep till noon. I miss her so terribly. the pain will not subside. I find comfort in the fact that she suffers no longer, and that she is young and healthy again, running at rainbow bridge, and waiting for our reunion. the emptiness is unbearable, but her memory will live in my heart forever and ever. my sweet little baby girl.

In the blink of an eye she was gone. We miss her more than I ever thought. She was the first "big" gift my husband bought me...we picked her out a 3 weeks old...she was awesome...slept next to me every night, played with her boxer brother every day. In the worst moments she was right there...ready for a wet kiss. I would give everything I have for just one more day with her. She is my princess that I will think of daily with happy thoughts and a breaking heart. Until I see her again....I miss you pretty girl!!

I thank the higher powers that be for allowing me to enjoy such profound love between "Herman" and myself. I counted every day a blessing to have such a wonderful companion. "Herman" had many medical issues through the 17yrs, 4mos, and 20 days of his life. His doctor pulled him through many bouts of his diabetic issues. In the end his kidneys began failing and I had to make one of the hardest choices of my life...... needless to say I am so heartbroken and my home is so empty without my beloved "Herman". I truly miss him with all my heart, and forever will.

Bart was the most beautiful and loving cat I have ever known. He was brought to the SPCA as a stray and landed a home with me at 8 weeks old.

He came to me when I was 23 and just starting out in life. We lived alone, we had roommates, and we moved many times.

Bart loved popcorn, car rides, giving kisses, purring as loudly as possible and sleeping next to me every night. He would bat his tail excitedly when you would talk to him and would come running when you called his name.

Bart's little body gave in to illness last week but his heart was as big as ever. I will always love him and will never forget all the years of dedication and friendship he gave me. I miss him more than I can even describe.

He was a white full blooded miniature poodle given to me to care for. He loved to go with me in the car. Was always at the door waiting. He never knew a stranger being friendly to everyone like his master. When company came he would always get in their lap. He loved to chase things and bring them back to me but I'd have to hassle to get it from him. He was four years old when he was given to me. He was very attached to my husband. I think he favored men as would never come to me anytime only begging me for food. When he came home from somewhere he would always want to go out to greet him.

1 night, last summer Miss Kitty came into mine and my fiancé's life. It was around midnight, we were going to sleep when we heard a meow outside the window, so I went to the window and looked outside and there was this most beautiful cat I've ever seen. So I brought her inside and fed her some food and she adopted us as her parents. So we took her in. She was in our life for a very short period, but she brought laughter, joy, and fun into our lives. Last night i lost my baby (Miss Kitty) and she left 5 kittens behind. She was my best friend. I could talk to her about anything and she would always listen to what i had to talk to her about. Miss Kitty (Baby) we will always love and remember how much laughter, joy , and fun that you shared with us

Sassy was a long hair Calico. She was abandoned and was given to us. Little did we know that she was pregnant at the time and had the most loving litter of cats which I now still have 2 of them. That was 11 years ago. This morning Sept 10 she was killed by dogs. I found her when I went out to feed her. She was under the maple tree. I think she died of a broken neck or just had a heart attack. She would always purr so loud and loved to sit on a person's lap. She always stayed at home. She would always come down the sidewalk when I came from the store because she knew I had her food. I loved this kitty and she was minding her own business when stray dogs took her little life. This was in the middle of the night. I was asleep and could not save her. If I had heard the dogs maybe I could have saved her in time. If I had only known. I would have tried to save her. She was such a joy to have around all these years. She was truly a loyal member of the family. I will miss you until the day it is time for me to pass. I hope you and Snuggles are waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. Now you two will keep each other company. Love you Sassy

Tink, your love was unconditional and not a moment went by when you weren't our best friend. I'll miss "special love" when you climbed on my chest before bedtime and demanded your massage every night. The mail-man just came to the door and there wasn't a bark and my heart breaks knowing you're not with us anymore. I'm finding peace knowing that you were perfectly normal and playing one second and gone the next. We didn't have time to prepare emotionally for your passing but your life was full of play and fun up to the last second. Mom, Dad, Missy and Josh will love you forever. Your best friend Gidget has been waiting a long time for her playmate to join her, so have fun. I know that when there is as much love as we shared that we will meet again, so until then show Jesus know how to give you your "special love" every night and keep a watchful eye on your family below. You'll never be forgotten!

My precious Yorkshire Terrier 'Krystal-Sterlings Lady in Charge' died in my arms today. She was a champion show girl and a champion at life. Two years of struggling with a difficult disease left her unable to fight any more and with her soulful eyes she said "mom it's time". As I told her I wasn't there to hold her when she came into this world but it was my pleasure to hold her as she went from this world.

I will forever cherish the few short years that she gave me and the never ending love and companionship she gave me. What a treasure she was. A beautiful little doll with soulful eyes that was in tune to my every thought. Krystal you, my little darling were the light and joy of my life and will forever remain in my heart and thoughts.

I know the Bible does not say there will be puppies in heaven but I truly believe that for all the little ones we love so that God will make a provision for them.

This momma sure loves you baby girl. Forever and ever.

Comments

We lost our five year old, Tia Girl, a Shih Tzu, one week before Christmas of 2003. She was unable to fight for here life any longer and died quietly in my arms. She knew how very much she was loved by my 14 year old son and me. She loved us and our dog, Doug, too!! The ANIMAL CARE CLINIC in Bemidji, Minnesota did everything they could to save her after she got under the undercarriage of a moving car. She was paralyzed in the back and after enduring a 3 week recuperation in a baby play-pen and being diapered like a baby, her bladder gave out and it all ended quickly. She was the cutest, bravest, sweetest, most angelic dog anyone could ever ask for. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of her. I brought her back to the vet clinic right after she died and they cried with me. They said they could freeze her until spring so I could bury her outside. I was too upset to go with cremation at that time. Several months passed while waiting for our Minnesota spring to come and in the meantime I spoke with a friend who had lost a pet several years ago. He said his wife and he had chosen cremation as that way if they ever moved they would always have their pet with them. I knew at that moment what I had to do and immediately called ANIMAL CARE and requested cremation for Tia. They recommended your web site for the purchase of an urn to honor and preserve her remains. They also cut two locks of her hair and surprised us with a plaster cast they made of her footprint!!! They went out of their way and really understood our deep pain and the magnitude of our loss! We are searching now for the perfect urn and your web site is a true God send! I only wish I had heard of it at the time of her death, it helps to talk about it even if it's through many tears! Thank you for your wonderful company and for providing all pet lovers everywhere with your exquisite products and services!!! Shari and Matthew Schnell

Lady was a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who knew she was someone special. When we adopted her from a animal shelter she was skin and bones. We brought her home and she acted as if this was always her home. She was the smartest, cutest, funniest dog on earth. It got to the point that we had to spell certain words like "treat" and "walk". She was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal cord. At fist her back legs quit working then it eventually affected her front end. In the end, she was in a lot of pain and I could not bear it. The day we had her put to sleep has got to be the worst day of my life. There is a hole in my heart that was left by her. Ladybug mommy and daddy miss you so much. The only thing that comforts me is that we'll see you again one day. We love you!

Chunk came to us in the oddest way. When he was born he was the first one out and looking for food. He was 1 of 5 puppies and this pup never missed a meal. When my daughter and I started to bottle-feed the pups because their mother abandoned them Chunk was always the first one to want to eat. Chunk was a burrower, he liked to crawl under stuffed animals to sleep. When Chunk was born he looked like a cow with his colors and markings. As he grew he changed hair color to where he was a turning a beautiful gray-white color. The Australian Shepard was really starting to show. He was so playful and as soon as he saw you he came a running and just before he would get to you he would jump, if you weren't ready he would get you in the face. He was so full of love that you couldn't help but love him back. We tried very hard not to get attached to the pups but Chunk just wouldn't let that happen. He definitely chose us. One morning I remember the way I was awoken by my loving puppy Chunk. My other older dog Shadow who did not like to be outside had gone out to go to the bathroom and I had pulled the screen closed as I did every morning. After my husband left to go to work I was sitting on the couch and fell back asleep forgetting to let Shadow back in. The next thing I knew was Chunk came running into the house and leaped for the couch only this time he made it and landed right on my chest and preceded to soak my face with kisses and then he latched onto my nose. Man did that hurt those little puppy teeth of his were sharp, but I couldn't get mad because he had a look about him when he knew he was in trouble or not really sure he was in trouble he would just give you that look. I will forever remember that look. It was the look of complete innocence and then he would wag his tail and want more loves. He would of been a great dog and very good companion for our family. We will always have the best memories of Chunk. He was a very special puppy who truly had chosen a family that would of given him all the love in the world. Unfortunately God had another plan for him. He came down with the ugly parvo virus and was unable to fight it off and passed away just last Monday morning. Life will not be the same without our Chunkie as in his short time here on earth he gave us so much that he is truly missed. We will always love him and miss him, and I can honestly say that he was a one-of-a-kind. There will never be another like our "Chunk." So much love , yet so little time. there will come a day when I know that we will see each other again and then Chunk and I will cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

My dearest girl, I miss you. I wake up and look for your face peering over my mattress as you wait for me to walk over to you, say good morning and kiss you between the eyes, as you then return my morning kiss. Then we go for our walk. I miss walking into the house and you're waiting for me by the door, jumping up & down, running around, then waiting for your belly rub and hello kiss. I miss you sitting by my side in the kitchen as I prepare your food, your nudging me to the kitchen and facing your biscuit jar whenever you wanted one. I miss hugging you, I miss your kisses. I cant stop crying I miss you so much! You gave me such love and companionship, you will always be my daughter and best friend. Its been 22 days since you left, I've fallen apart without you, I'm trying to find my smile but I cant seem to. You always new how to find it. My girl I know that one day soon I'll walk into the house without looking for you, I wont wake up calling you, I wont rush home to walk you, and I wont miss your hugs and kisses, but right now that seems a long way off. I love you Sasha! I'm sorry you left, I didn't know you were sick, and from what your doctor tells me, it wouldn't have been good for you to stick around. I guess you knew better than me, but that doesn't change the fact that I miss you and as selfish as that is, I wish you were here with me, watching TV like you used to do, or singing out the window, or chasing the Ice Cream truck for a vanilla cone. I love you my girl - Thank you for being my best friend and for making my life the as wonderful as you did!

Yesterday, I had to put my best friend in the world to rest I only had the joy of having him for four years I rescued him from a tree and saved his life because someone left him there to die (he had a hernia and needed emergency surgery) he was only six weeks old, he repaid me with unconditional love for a cat he was a unique "bird" meowed when I sneezed or cou
